We are excited to announce updated reporting features now available in the Eldermark NEXT Clinical EHR and EMAR apps. These updates are designed to streamline operations and enhance care in senior living communities. Below, we provide details on the new reports and features that are now accessible to our users.

Clinical

Diet Report

Eldermark's Diet Report allows users to pull a comprehensive list of all residents, including their unit, diets, and food allergies. This report is an essential tool for quickly communicating resident diets and restrictions, ensuring dietary needs are met efficiently. Additionally, it can be used to audit residents who don’t have diets listed, helping to maintain accurate records. Users can easily print this report to PDF or export it to Excel for further analysis.

Evacuation Resident Roster

The Evacuation Resident Roster is another critical update, providing users with a list of all residents along with their unit, date of birth, code status, admit date, primary contact, primary contact phone number, and evacuation status. Residents on a Leave of Absence are also indicated in this report. This roster is invaluable during emergencies or evacuations, offering a quick reference of residents and their key information. Like the Diet Report, this roster can be printed to PDF or exported to Excel.

EMAR

Dashboard

Eldermark NEXT EMAR introduces several new dashboards that monitor various aspects of medication administration activities. These dashboards serve as landing pages for Med Providers and Nurses within our EMAR system, helping to ensure that medication administration is tracked and managed efficiently.

--

New Admissions

This dashboard shows the EMAR users the most recent new admissions. Users can filter the view to show all, 1 week, or 2 week admissions, making it easy to keep track of new residents. This dashboard is searchable and can be exported to CSV. Highlighting new admissions is crucial to alert Med Providers of new residents in the EMAR.

--

Medication Follow-up

This dashboard shows all medications that have had a follow-up scheduled. It helps users see which as-needed medications outside of the MAR still need results to be collected. This dashboard is actionable, allowing users to click on items that need data collection and easily enter follow-up information. The dashboard is also searchable and can be exported to CSV.

--

Medication Not Administered

This dashboard provides a list of all medications marked as not administered on the MAR within a specified time range. Users can configure the dashboard to show specific reasons or signatures, allowing for trend analysis of why medications are not being administered. This searchable dashboard can be exported to CSV.

--

Expiring Orders

This dashboard lists all medications with a future end date, making it easy to review medications that will soon be taken off the MAR. Users can view medications or treatments for review. This searchable dashboard can be exported to CSV.

--

Overdue Orders

This dashboard lists all medications that have not been documented as administered or not administered, showing medications that are considered missed. This actionable dashboard allows users to select any medications from the list and be taken to the MAR to complete the documentation. Users can filter the view by specified time periods and medications or treatments. This dashboard is searchable and can be exported to CSV.

--

Orders Waiting to be Received

This dashboard lists all medications still awaiting review in the Receive Orders section. It is an actionable dashboard, allowing users to click on a listing to be brought to the Receive Order screen for validation and review. This searchable dashboard can be exported to CSV.

These new reporting features are part of our ongoing commitment to providing tools that enhance operational efficiency and care quality in senior living communities. We encourage users to explore these updates and integrate them into their daily workflows for improved resident care and administrative management.
